Nerd Jams

Initiated to foster multidisciplinary collaboration between designers and artists of all persuasions, the Design Nerd Jams are a forum for creative people to discuss their projects and ideas. These meetings occur on an irregular basis and are open to all interested parties. Typical Format: Open Jam

• 7:00pm arrive; post your project idea(s) on the whiteboard
• 7:00-8:00pm: eat, drink, meet other nerds
• presentation process starts at 8:00pm
• 60 second elevator pitches by all potential presenters
• attendees vote on top 2 ideas
• presenters have 10 min each, with 30 min feedback each

Typical Format: Topic Jam

• 7:00-8:00pm: arrive, eat, drink, meet other nerds
• presentation process starts at 8:00pm
• Divide into groups and begin Jamming on ideas
• attendees vote on top 2 ideas
• presenters have 10 min each, with 30 min feedback each
• decide on how to implement the project with interested parties willing to follow it through
